Athens was already an old city when Paul taught there. Six hundred years earlier, Athens was the setting for the first major experiment with democratic government.

Encourage your child to talk about people he or she admires, from sports heroes and actors to teachers and neighbors. Talk about how these people affect others. Then talk about the effect we can have on people when we help them understand who Jesus is.
